Working Group draft guidance on to help implement the Directive on quality standards for water

To support implementation of Directive 2008/105/EC, a Working Group has developed draft guidance on mixing zones to be submitted to the Water Framework Directive Committee for approval. This contains working definitions, a tiered approach to identifying mixing zones, scientific and regulatory background on mixing zones and strategies for reducing mixing zones.
