New legislative proposals on the EU budget

The European Commission unveiled a legislative package on the EU budget which contained the following proposals: a regulation setting out common provisions governing the five EU funds under shared management; three specific regulations for the ERDF, the ESF and the Cohesion Fund; and two regulations dealing with the European territorial cooperation goal and the European grouping of territorial cooperation (see the section on: EU Structural and Cohesion Funds).
